Detailed Program of 13 Days Luxury Honeymoon Safari


Day 1: Nairobi Airport/City

After landing at JKIA Airport, you will be met by the “Amazing Memories Safaris and Tours” representative. They will give you a short briefing concerning your safari and then drive you to Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport. Here you will check in and have your overnight stay. So settle back and relax as you prepare to start your honeymoon safari!

Also, You may opt to check-in, refresh and exit the hotel for a Nairobi Excursions. They include and are not limited to;

1. Visit the David Sheldrick The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust/Elephant orphanage. (Recommended)
2. Visit the Giraffe Center (Recommended)
3. Kazuri beads factory tour
4. Dinner or Lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant for meat lovers
5. Visit Maasai Market.
6. Kenya National Museums e.t.c.


Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will check out and begin your journey to Amboseli National Park. This is the best park to get close to the free-ranging elephants and have spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Get the best snapshots of the unique African sunset and sunrise. Amboseli National Park has an ecosystem mainly made up of savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

You will arrive at Amboseli Ol Tukai Lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will take off for an exciting afternoon game drive and later return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.


Day 3: Amboseli National Park

On this day still in , You have two options to choose from:

Option one; You may opt to have an early morning game drive, return for breakfast, freshen up and spend the rest of the midmorning at your leisure, either swimming in the pool or just relaxing. Later have lunch and proceed for the evening game drive. Finally, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Option 2: You may have an early breakfast and proceed for a whole day game drive with packed lunch. Return to the lodge for dinner and turn in for the night.


Day 4: Amboseli National Park – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will leave Amboseli National Park heading to Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Country Club, Check inn and have lunch.

After lunch, you will leave the lodge for a Hippo Boat Ride experience with our famous and well-versed Captains who are locally-born. The captains have detailed knowledge of the birdlife and wildlife in and around the lake.

Later, you will proceed to a walking safari in the Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, “Naivasha’s best-kept secret,” It’s famous for Walking/hiking safari, bird watching, photography, fresh air, and isolation. It is a peninsula and is currently only accessible by boat from the East or Westside. The shores host abundant birdlife, including pelicans, cormorants, and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than any other Kenyan Park.

After this beautiful adventure, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru

Have a late breakfast and leave the lodge around 11 am heading to Lake Nakuru National park. You will arrive for lunch and check in at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. After lunch, you will take part in an exciting afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores, greater and lesser flamingos. Also, being one of the biggest rhino sanctuaries globally, the primary essence of this park was/is to protect the highly endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, black and white rhinos. Other attractions Include Makalia Water Fall. The park offers more than just wildlife; it has three elevated scenery, i.e., lion hill, Baboon Cliff, and Out of Africa. While at this point, you can see great Rift Valley escarpment, carpeted lakeshore pinkish by flamingos, surrounding yellow fever trees, and Makalia waterfall.

Later in the evening, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 6:Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you check out and depart for Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. This is the park where you will have the opportunity to see the “Big 5” and the wildebeest Migration.

Maasai Mara is situated in southwest Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible, and most spectacular ecosystems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system. The Mara is globally famous for its exceptional population of lion, leopard, and cheetah, and the annual migration of Thomson’s gazelle and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Wildebeest Migration.

You will arrive in time to check-in and have lunch at Ashnil Mara camp. After lunch, you will settle in, freshen up and then take off on an evening game drive. You will return for dinner, and your overnight stays later in the evening.


Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve

Morning breakfast and exit the lodge with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara National Reserve searching for the Big 5and other animals.

If Safari falls from July to October, you will have the privilege to witness the 7th wonder of the world, the annual wildebeest migration, especially while crossing crocodile-loaded river Mara.

You will later return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.


Day 8: Masai Mara National Reserve

Today you can choose between three itineraries:

Itinerary 1: Go on an optional hot air balloon ride in the early morning! You will be picked up from your camp and transferred to the balloon launch site. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. After the ride, you will be given a certificate. Afterward, you will drive back to the camp for breakfast and game drives.

Itinerary 2: Go on an early morning game drive. Return for breakfast, freshen up, and then go out into the park again. Eat lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure – perhaps you will take a swim in the pool! Enjoy another game drive in the evening in search of more animals. Return in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Itinerary 3: Eat breakfast and then depart with a packed lunch in hand for a full day game drive. You will be in search of the “great migration” and the “Big Five.” Return in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.


Day 9: Masai Mara – Diani Beach

After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and have a mid-morning game drive as you drive toward Masai Mara airstrip for your direct flight to Diani beach.

Diani Beach has been voted Africa’s leading beach destination for the fifth time running since 2015.

Arrive at Diani/Ukunda Airsport around 3 pm. Our driver will pick you and transfer you to Swahili Beach resort, check-in, and refresh. Have dinner and overnight.


Day 10 – 12: Diani Beach

After breakfast, you can choose to relax in the resort. This will be the climax of your Luxurious Honeymoon Safari.
