We had a fabulous 6 day / 5 night safari with Amazing Memories!
We did 1 night in Ol Pejeta, 1 night in Lake Nakuru and 3 nights in the... read more Masai Mara. This worked out to be the perfect blend of being able to experience the smaller conservancies and more concentrated wildlife, and also the vastness of the Masai Mara.
The accommodation and food was great throughout. Our favourite spot was Ashnil Mara Camp in the Masai Mara - having a beer whilst watching the hippos and crocodiles float down the river was really special. The river side tent which we stayed in was also amazing.
The wildlife viewing was top notch and Peter did a wonderful job of making sure we got to see it all - he also had great knowledge of the different species we saw and areas we visited, which added to the overall experience. Thank you Peter!
Anne was great at answering all my queries quickly and putting together a more bespoke itinerary to suit our arrangements - which suited us perfectly.
A really wonderful experience, which we won't forget!

We searched on SafariBookings.com for a safari visiting the Masai Mara. We requested quotes from 3 companies and Amazing Memories came out as the best option for us. From the... read more beginning Ann at Amazing Memories was very prompt and helpful with replies, we had some extras we wanted to fit in and possible accommodation changes. In the end we decided on Sarova LionHill Lodge in Lake Nakuru for one night and Entim Mara Camp in Masai Mara for 2 nights and paid extra for a 4x4 Landcruiser and private driver which was really worth having. We paid our deposit via bank transfer and Brian organised the final touches to our trip and booked the train tickets for our onward journey Nairobi to Mombasa for after the safari. He met us at our hotel in Nairobi to introduce us to our driver and guide for the next 4 days, he gave us hats and waved us on our way! It was lovely and a special start to our fantastic safari.
Both accommodations turned out to be perfect for our needs and wishes. Sarova Lionhill Lodge was very comfortable, nice rooms and a good choice of food at the buffet. We decided to splash out for the 2 nights in Masai Mara as we really wanted to camp in one of the luxury tents. Entim Mara Camp was superb, the food was delicious 5 star quality, amazing staff, fantastic views, comfy beds. They packed us an amazing picnic lunch for our 2nd day, with all the finer details thought of including table cloth, wine and cold beer!
We saw so many animals and enjoyed every minute. Our driver and guide Patrick was fantastic, we would totally reccomend him to anyone, a brilliant and safe driver who knew where to find the animals in this vast Reserve
Especially a big shout out to Amazing Memories who are totally professional and reliable, Thank you, we loved Kenya!
