Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu

Pick up from JKIA / in Your Nairobi location where you will be met by Amazing Memories Safaris and Tours Representative who will give you a briefing concerning your safari. He will also introduce you to your guide who will take you through the safari.
You will then drive to SAMBURU GAME RESERVE.
You will arrive and have lunch at Samburu Campsite.

Samburu National Game Reserve
Samburu National Reserve is one of the lesser-known national parks, but is nevertheless teeming with life. Situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savanah plains. The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa Oryx (also referred to as Samburu Special Five).
The reserve is also popular with a minimum of 900 elephants. Large predators such as the lion, leopard and cheetah are an important attraction.

An afternoon game drive at 4pm and later drive to the CAMPSITE for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Samburu

Have an early morning Game drive
Return to campsite for breakfast
Rest of the morning at leisure or an optional visit to Samburu Cultural Village
Return for Lunch at the campsite
Coffee or tea
Take an evening game drive
Return to the CAMPSITE for Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Samburu / Lake Naivasha

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Naivasha where You will arrive in time for lunch at the Lake Naivasha Cray Fish Camp.
After lunch, you will spend the rest of the afternoon with activities around Lake Naivasha.

Optional Excursions around Lake Naivasha include:
Take a hippo boat ride to around the lake. The haunting call of a Fish Eagle high over the lake as it prepares to grab fish from the water brings a perfect getaway.
Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary at just USD 30PP.
The Crescent Island is a submerged rim of a volcanic crater that forms a bay which is the deepest point of the lake. The Crescent Island is a preserved sanctuary of wildlife where you will wander among tiny herds of mammals such as giraffe, antelope, gazelle, eland, zebra and lot of birds.

Later, you will return for Dinner and overnight at the CAMP.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha / Lake Nakuru

Morning breakfast and then drive to Lake Nakuru.
You will arrive in time for lunch at Chester Hotel Nakuru.

Lake Nakuru National Park:
Lake Nakuru National Park lies in Central Kenya, 150km north-west of Nairobi, in Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.
Afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
You will later drive back to the HOTEL for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru ? Maasai Mara

After breakfast, you will depart for Maasai Mara one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves
You will arrive in time for lunch at Mara Rhino Tourist Camp.

Maasai Mara:
Maasai Mara is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs, and the annual migration of Thomson’s gazelle and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Mara Rhino Tourist Camp:
The tents are linked by a pathway neatly framed by well-maintained flower bushes, manicured lawns and flanked by indigenous trees. The rooms, which are constructed to best blend with the milieu of the Masai Mara, are fronted by a private veranda ideal for relaxing and giving one the feeling of truly experiencing the tranquility of the bush. Each suite is fitted with mosquito nets and an en-suite bathroom with showers, flush toilets and a wash-basin
Afternoon game drives after lunch and later in the evening return to the CAMP for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Maasai Mara

Alternative I:
Morning breakfast and exit the LODGE with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara National Reserve in search of the Big 5.
You will later return to the LODGE in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Alternative II:
Have an early morning Game drive.
Return for breakfast.
Freshen up and later a Midmorning Game Drive.
Have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
More game drives in the evening in search of more animals.
Dinner and overnight at the LODGE.
Alternative III:
You can ALSO choose a morning Balloon ride in the early morning where you will be picked up from your lodge and transferred you to the balloon launch site. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. The actual ride starts at 6am.
The pilot controls the altitude of your balloon: Sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife that is below.

Day 7: Maasai Mara – Serengeti

Breakfast at the campsite and then depart with packed lunch to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. After Visa formalities at the Isebania border, you shall proceed to Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park:
Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.
You will arrive in the evening at Serengeti Campsite with game drives enroute.
Dinner and overnight at the campsite

Day 8: Serengeti

After breakfast at the campsite, you shall depart with packed lunch for a whole day gamedrive at the park for a chance to see the BIG 5 and even many more animals.
You will later return for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

Morning breakfast and then drive to Ngorongoro National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch with game drive enroute at Ngorongoro Simba campsite.
You will then leave the campsite for a half day Crater Tour.

Ngorongoro Crater:
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area as a whole has much to offer but the jewel in its crown is, without a doubt, the eponymous crater – an area of 265 sq km, which is 610 meters deep and 19 km across. The rim of the crater is an astounding 2286 meters above sea level. The floor contains a small soda lake, called Lake Magadi and it is estimated that 30 000 animals are living in the crater, making it the most intensive safari game viewing area on earth! It was therefore very fittingly declared a World Heritage Site in 1978. A visit to Tanzania is simply incomplete without a safari visit to the park.
Later you will drive back for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Ngorongoro / Amboseli

Morning breakfast and then drive to Amboseli National Park.
After Visa formalities at The Namanga border, You shall proceed to Amboseli National Park.

Amboseli National Park
The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
You will arrive and have lunch at Amboseli Kimana Campsite

An afternoon game drives at 4pm and later drive to the LODGE in the evening for dinner.

Day 11: Amboseli/ Nairobi

After breakfast you will drive back to Nairobi.
