Day 1: Arusha

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by an “Amazing Memories Safaris and Tours” representative. You will take part in a briefing concerning your safari’s details, and then you will be introduced to your guide who will take you through the safari.
You will then drive to Mt Meru Hotel in Arusha City for dinner and your overnight.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire

After early buffet breakfast you will check-out and depart with a packed lunch to enjoy along the way to Tarangire National Park. After a two and a half-hour drive you will enter the Tarangire National Park and take off on a full day game drive.

About Tarangire National Park
This beautiful park is filled with baobabs and acacias trees with a large variety of games such as zebra, elephant, giraffe, and waterbuck. All the animals enjoy the water coming from the Tarangire River. The animals best viewed during this time of the year include elephant, elands, oryx, lesser kudu, rhino, leopard, lion, and cheetah. The birdlife is varied and plentiful.

In the evening, you will drive to the Tarangire Sopa Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara

After early buffet breakfast you will check-out and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. You will have lunch during the day’s excursion.

About Lake Manyara National Park
This park, from the main road, runs through an expanse of the lush jungle where groups of hundreds of baboons gather carelessly to the side of the road, blue monkey roams nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, and delicate forest antelope walk cautiously in the shadows. In stark contrast to the intimacy of the forest, where the grassy floodplain looks eastward across the alkaline lake, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the jagged volcanic peaks that rise from the endless Maasai steppes. Large specimens of buffalo, wildebeest, and zebra gather around the grassy plains, as well as giraffe, some of which have a black color, so dark as to appear almost black from a distance can easily be traced.

In the evening, you will leave the park and drive to Lake Manyara Serena, where you will have dinner and enjoy your overnight stay.

Day 4: Manyara – Serengeti

After early buffet breakfast you will check-out and depart Manyara for the endless plains of the Serengeti enjoying an exciting game drive and a picnic lunch along the way.

About Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti region encompasses Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Maswa Game Reserve, the Loliondo, Grumeti, and Ikorongo Controlled Areas. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and antelope migrate following the course of the seasons in search of water and pasture. These animals cautiously move around the large predators including lion, leopard, cheetah, and hyena. Nowhere else in the world can you see such a concentration of wildlife! Wildebeest and zebras concentrate here for the great annual migration that takes them to face the crossing of major rivers where many of them end up eaten, maimed, or drowned. Spend the dry season in the western Serengeti then move east again before the rains.

After this long day, you will drive to Serengeti Serena Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

After an early morning buffet breakfast, you will take off for the park to enjoy a full-day game drive experiencing the vastness and variety of flora and fauna and all the wildlife that inhabit the park. A packed lunch will be served while you are in the park. Later in the evening, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

You will rise at your leisure and enjoy a buffet breakfast. After breakfast, you will leave the lodge to spend your last day on an exciting game drive in the Serengeti.

You will return to the lodge for a hot lunch and then spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge premises. There is a short evening game drive option available and later in the evening, you will have dinner and then turn in for the night.

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, you will check-out and drive to Ngorongoro National Park enjoying a game drive along the way. You will arrive in time for lunch at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. After lunch, you will then leave the lodge for a half-day Crater Tour in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

About Ngorongoro Conservancy
This area, as a whole, has much to offer but the most amazing part, without a doubt, is the eponymous crater, an area of 265 sq km, which is 610 meters deep and 19 km across. The rim of the crater is an astounding 2286 meters above sea level. The floor contains a small soda lake called Lake Magadi and it is estimated that some 30 000 animals inhabit the crater, making it the most intensive safari game viewing area on earth. It has fittingly been declared a World Heritage Site in 1978. A visit to Tanzania is simply incomplete without a safari visit to the park.

Later in the evening, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 8: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport

After an early breakfast, you will check-out of the lodge and depart for Arusha. You will have the option to stop at some local shops for the opportunity to purchase souvenirs. After a hot lunch stop in Arusha town, you will be driven to The Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home. This is where your safari will end.
