Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Upon landing at JKIA Airport you will be met by an Amazing Memories Safaris and Tours representative who will give you a briefing concerning your safari and then drive you to Amboseli National Park; this is the best park to get up-close to free-ranging elephant and other wildlife, have spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and get the best snapshots of the amazing African sunsets and sunrises. The ecosystem is mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive at Amboseli Kibo Safari Camp in time for lunch. After lunch you will take off on an afternoon game drive and later drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2: Amboseli

After breakfast you have the choice of several activities:
Option one; You may opt to rise before sunrise and have an early morning game drive and then return for breakfast. You will then freshen up and take off for a mid-morning game drive, In the afternoon you will have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure relaxing around the swimming pool, taking part in game drives in the evening in search of more animals, and then have Dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

Option 2: After an early breakfast you will take off for a full-day game drive. Return to the camp around 2 Pm for lunch and then spend the rest of afternoon at your leisure with dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast you will check-out and then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp where you will check-in, have lunch and later have an afternoon game drive in the park. The park lies in Central Kenya, in the Nakuru district of the Great Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem is comprised of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and many other water birds. You will have the chance to see 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino, buffalo and a variety of over 450 species of terrestrial birds. Later in the evening you will drive back to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

After breakfast you will check-out and depart for Maasai Mara, National Reserve; one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves, where you will have the opportunity to see the “Big 5” and experience the annual Wildebeest Migration. Maasai Mara is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park, the Maasai Mara forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing ecosystem. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lion, leopard and cheetah. You will arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. After lunch you will take part in an evening game drive; returning later for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5: Masai Mara

After breakfast at the lodge you will leave with packed lunches to take part in a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Game Reserve. Be on the lookout for the “Big 5” and many other wild animals. You will later return to lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6: Masai Mara

This day you can choose to take a hot air balloon ride. If you do, you will be picked up and transferred to the launch site. You will meet your pilot, receive a briefing, and watch the inflation of your balloon. The pilot controls the altitude of your balloon directing you to treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife that can be seen below. Later you will drive back to the lodge for breakfast and take off on more game drives throughout the day. In the evening you will have dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge. Alternatively you could begin the day with an early morning sunrise game drive and return for breakfast and then take off on another mid-morning game drive. You will return again for lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure, maybe swimming or relaxing at the pool. You can take off for an evening game drive and later drive back for dinner and your overnight stay. The other option is you will leave with packed lunches to take part in a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Game Reserve. In search of the “Big 5” and many other wild animals. You will later return to lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 7: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Morning game drive before breakfast later you will check-out and drive back to Nairobi where you will spend the day at your own leisure with optional activities depending on your flight schedule. Later we will transfer you to the airport or hotel. This is where your safari will end.
